Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (days) and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (nights), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac and intermediate care patients
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips
Titrate intravenous drips (e.g., amiodarone, nitroglycerin, nicardipine, epinephrine)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including hospitalists and intensivists
Assess and manage patients with cardiac diagnoses (Cath Lab, CVAs, CHF, A fib)
Educate patients and families on condition and treatment plan

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska
Minimum 1 year of experience with similar patient population
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Experience with titrating drips and telemetry interpretation
Valid driver's license

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac care knowledge
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
IV drip titration skills
Excellent communication and teamwork
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
