Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekends and one holiday (3 shifts per week)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in an inpatient setting
Set up and manage ventilators (PB980, Philips V60, Lumis) and BiPAP equipment
Perform arterial blood gas draws and interpret results to guide treatment
Administer nebulizer treatments and monitor patient responses
Stand by for conscious sedation and cardioversion procedures, ensuring patient safety
Assist with intubations and airway management alongside the medical team
Collaborate with lead therapist and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
Provide specialized care to neonates (32+ weeks) including bubble CPAP management

Qualifications

Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist License (required)
At least 2 years of acute care respiratory therapy experience
Must have NICU experience - comfortable with bubble CPAP and neonates 32 weeks and up
Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
RRT or CRT credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ventilator management and airway support
Skilled in drawing ABGs and performing respiratory assessments
Knowledgeable about neonatal respiratory care including bubble CPAP
Experienced with conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
Strong understanding of respiratory therapy protocols and equipment (PB980, Philips V60, Lumis)
