Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department and Telemetry units
Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel
Communicate with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition and diagnostic results
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality, and ensure compliance with EMTALA regulations

Qualifications

Current and valid RN License in the state of Georgia
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
PALS certification required
BVP (MAB) training required
NIHSS or Stroke Certification preferred
COVID-19 vaccination/boosters preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency Department nursing
Telemetry monitoring
Patient-centered care
Nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
