Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, stroke, and other acute conditions
- Titrate drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips independently
- Collaborate with a dedicated team including charge nurses and patient care techs
- Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed to care for PCU acuity patients
Qualifications
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Competence in arterial line management
- Proven ability to titrate critical drips
- Flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
Knowledge & Skills
- Arterial line insertion and monitoring
- Titration of common cardiac drips
- Telemetry and rhythm interpretation
- Focus on patient experience and responsiveness
