Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM - 7:00 AM), schedule varies, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical/telemetry patients with conditions such as CHF, diabetes, PNA, and CKD
Monitor telemetry strips and respond to changes in patient condition
Manage CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse educators to ensure high-quality care
Float to other med/surg units as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Experience in med/surg or telemetry nursing
Ability to read telemetry strips
Strong communication and time management skills
BLS certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Knowledge of CHF, diabetes, PNA, and CKD management
Experience with CPAP/BiPAP and high-flow oxygen
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Time management and organizational skills
