Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management
Monitor patient response and adjust therapies as needed
Collaborate with nurses and physicians on patient care plans
Document treatments accurately and maintain equipment
Respond to emergency codes and respiratory distress situations

Qualifications

Active Respiratory Therapist license in Connecticut or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work night shifts and travel assignments

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in ventilator management and oxygen delivery systems
Knowledge of respiratory pharmacology and patient assessment
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
