Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population across multiple units within Zone 3
• Float between facilities as needed, adapting quickly to new environments and teams
• Monitor and interpret telemetry for patients with cardiac, neuro, oncology, and other conditions
• Administer medications, including titratable drips like heparin
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and families
• Support permanent staff by filling scheduling gaps and embracing a flexible attitude

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of recent MS-Tele nursing experience
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Prefer candidates with prior neuro experience
• Ability to float within a 60-mile radius zone covering multiple facilities
• Flexibility to work rotating 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
• Experience with heparin titration and common drip protocols
• Ability to quickly adapt to different unit specialties and patient acuities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a float pool setting
• Time management and organizational skills to handle varied assignments
