Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain process
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment ensuring safety and quality
- Position patients accurately to obtain optimal images
- Document patient information and imaging details
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate results
Qualifications
- Active state licensure/verification as a Radiologic Technologist
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- DCI/BVP certification
- Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or declination
- Ability to pass drug screen and background check
Knowledge & Skills
- X-ray imaging techniques and radiation safety protocols
- Patient positioning and anatomy knowledge
- Equipment operation and maintenance
- Infection control and sterile procedures
- Strong communication and patient care skills
