Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, with on-call and every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic and ENT surgeries
Circulate in the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment and coordinating surgical team
Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during procedures
Document care accurately in EPIC EMR system
Take on-call shifts and cover weekend rotations as needed
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current and valid California RN License
BLS (AHA) certification upon hire
ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire
PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire
Orthopedic and ENT surgical experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
Ability to take call and work every other weekend
CNOR certification preferred
BSN preferred

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
