Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide intermediate care for cardiac patients, including those post-CVICU step-down
Titrate and monitor critical drips like amiodarone, nitro, nicardipine, epinephrine, and cardizem
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to rhythm changes
Collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, and hospitalists for comprehensive patient care
Float to units of same or lower acuity as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
At least 1 year of experience in cardiovascular or intermediate care nursing
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and drip titration
Driver's license required for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac drips and blood pressure management
Skilled in telemetry interpretation and 12-lead EKG
Experience with BiPAP, CPAP, and nasal cannula respiratory support
Strong teamwork and communication skills
