Roles & Responsibilities

Perform PET/CT scans and other nuclear medicine procedures with precision and care
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
Monitor patient condition during scans and adjust protocols as needed
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment for optimal performance
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT) or ARRT (N)
State of California license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Minimum of 1 year of experience in PET/CT imaging preferred
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent patient care and communication skills

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in PET/CT imaging protocols and quality control
Knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and their safe handling
Understanding of anatomy and pathology relevant to nuclear medicine
Skilled in using imaging software and PACS systems
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
