Location: Omaha, Nebraska

End Date: 12-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend. Self-scheduling available.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population on a combined PCU, Oncology, and MedSurg unit
Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for side effects
Manage common drips including heparin, cardizem, and protonix
Perform hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent PCU/Oncology experience required
Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
First-time travelers welcome to apply
Must have a valid driver's license

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records
Experienced with Alaris IV pumps and hemodynamic monitoring
Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and safe handling
Ability to titrate common drips (insulin, cardizem)
Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
