Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, various start times (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex drips like heparin and cardizem
Monitor hemodynamic status and titrate medications as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, social work, and case managers
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed, maintaining same level of care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
Minimum 1 year of PCU, med/surg, or oncology experience
First-time travelers welcome to apply
Ability to pass an open-book exam during orientation (90% required)
Willingness to adhere to facility policies including artificial nail prohibition

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy certification and ONS/ONCC preferred
Proficient in ACLS, BLS, and EPIC EMR
Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000)
Strong teamwork and patient-centered care approach
