Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (days) and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (nights), every other weekend required.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced PCU setting
- Monitor and manage cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetic patients, including continuous EEG monitoring
- Titrate intravenous drips such as Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications as ordered
- Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed to support unit staffing
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Valid driver's license for identification and mileage determination
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in cardiac and neurological nursing care
- Proficiency in titrating critical drips
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to floating requirements
- Strong team collaboration and patient advocacy
