Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM etc., every other weekend, self-schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including oncology and trauma PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and monitor drips such as heparin, cardizem, and protonix
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, RN case manager, social work, educator, and dietician
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed to support team
Engage in hourly rounding to enhance patient experience
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR system

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU, Med/Surg, and Oncology
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC and Chemotherapy certification required
First-time travelers welcome to apply
Driver's license required at submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with oncology patient care and chemotherapy administration
Proficiency in EPIC EMR
Ability to titrate drips like insulin and cardizem
Knowledge of ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring (can train)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to patient-centered care and diversity
