Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform routine and complex laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, and blood bank
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control and accuracy
Collect blood specimens via venipuncture on rare occasions
Document and report test results accurately in EPIC Beaker
Communicate critical values to healthcare providers promptly
Collaborate with the lab team to maintain efficient workflow and high standards

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Generalist Medical Technologist
MLT or MLS certification required
Current BLS certification preferred
Proficiency with EPIC Beaker laboratory information system
Phlebotomy skills required (occasional venipuncture)
Ability to work independently on night shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Strong generalist lab skills across all departments
Expertise in quality control and instrument troubleshooting
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to fast-paced, high-volume environment
