Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating day/night with every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry and med-surg patients across multiple units
Titrate cardiac drips and interpret EKGs to ensure safe patient outcomes
Float between telemetry, med-surg, neuro, and holding areas as needed
Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and interdisciplinary teams for optimal care
Adapt quickly to different units and campuses, maintaining continuity of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIHSS certification preferred
Must be able to titrate cardiac drips and pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract
Minimum 1 year of telemetry or med-surg experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in cardiac drip titration and EKG interpretation
Telemetry monitoring and central station skills
Strong assessment and critical thinking in acute care settings
Excellent communication and teamwork for floating between units
Flexibility and adaptability to varying patient acuities
