Location: Omaha, NE

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes conditions
Titrate critical drips including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Monitor continuous EEG and telemetry for early intervention
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to ensure optimal outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed, expanding your skills
Maintain a positive attitude and strong communication in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska (or compact state)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Valid driver's license for distance verification
Minimum 1-2 years of PCU experience preferred
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with 90% during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable with titration of cardiac and neurology drips
Adaptable to floating across different units
Positive attitude and willingness to help others
