Location: Carbondale, Illinois

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust respiratory care plans within a multidisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, procedures, and discharge planning
- Deliver high-quality respiratory treatments as ordered by physicians while collaborating with medical and nursing staff
- Serve as a clinical mentor by sharing expertise with staff and students
- Provide compassionate care across multiple units when reassignment is needed
Qualifications
- Active RRT credential required
- Current Illinois Respiratory Therapist license
- BLS and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Education
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy

- Respiratory disease management and intervention procedures
- Patient education and care planning
- Multidisciplinary collaboration
- Clinical mentoring and precepting
