Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients on a 28-bed PCU/Med-Surg unit
- Monitor and titrate drips including insulin and Cardizem while ensuring patient safety
- Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medications such as heparin and protonix
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dietitians
- Float to same-level-of-care units to support team needs and broaden your clinical experience
- Deliver patient-centered care that respects diverse cultural, religious, and economic backgrounds
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
- EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
- First-time travelers welcome
- Valid driver's license required at submission
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records
- Skilled in Alaris IV pumps and ventilator management
- Comfortable with hemodynamic monitoring including CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, and EV-1000
- Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and oncology protocols
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities in a mixed PCU/Med-Surg setting
