Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule with weekend requirements based on unit needs
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients including those with CHF, diabetes, and post-surgical needs
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to telemetry alerts with precision and care
- Administer and titrate Heparin and Cardizem drips within approved parameters
- Collaborate with CNAs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Float to support other units as needed while maintaining high standards of care
- Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active WA or Compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care clinical experience
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac drips preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Medical-surgical nursing with overflow patient populations
- Cardiac drip management (Heparin and Cardizem)
- Patient education and family communication
- Floating flexibility across units
