Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech therapy services to 9-10 patients daily
- Conduct modified barium swallow studies for accurate diagnosis
- Support adult patients in acute care settings with communication and swallowing needs
- Assist premature infants in the NICU with feeding development
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in California
- Experience performing modified barium swallow studies required
- Comfort working with both adult and neonatal populations
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Modified Barium Swallow Studies expertise
- Adult acute care speech therapy experience
- NICU feeding assessment skills
- Patient-centered communication approach
- Interdisciplinary collaboration abilities
