Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with one weeknight call per week until 7:00 AM next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub in for a variety of procedures including cranial, orthopedic trauma, and total joint cases
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields while anticipating surgeon needs in a fast-paced OR environment
• Assist with advanced robotic systems including DaVinci, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and smooth case flow
• Respond to trauma call within 15 minutes to support neuro and orthopedic emergencies

Qualifications

• Current CST certification preferred with proven ability to scrub independently
• Strong experience in cranial procedures, orthopedic trauma, and total joint replacements
• BLS certification required and comfort working in a Level II trauma setting
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records and robotic-assisted technologies
• Willingness to take call and maintain flexibility with scheduling needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert scrubbing techniques for neuro, ortho trauma, and general OR cases
• Familiarity with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis navigation systems
• Strong understanding of sterile processing and infection control protocols
• Ability to remain calm and focused during high-acuity trauma situations
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
