Respiratory Therapist
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
Start Date: 06-29-2026
End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert respiratory care across all patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
- Deliver critical support in Level II trauma, NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac units
- Operate advanced equipment including Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60 ventilators
- Collaborate closely with physicians while making independent clinical judgments
- Cover all areas throughout the facility including inpatient, outpatient, ER, and more
- Work independently with respect from all disciplines in a friendly, supportive environment
Qualifications
- Current RRT or CRT credential required
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
- NICU experience is a must
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical judgment across neonatal to geriatric populations
- Proficiency with multiple ventilator platforms and respiratory equipment
- Experience in Level II trauma, NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac settings
- Excellent communication and collaboration with physicians and care teams
- Comfort working across all hospital departments and care areas
