Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Float Pool
Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care across multiple specialties including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
- Float throughout Zone 1 facilities within a 60-mile radius, adapting quickly to new units and patient populations
- Manage a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio based on acuity while delivering safe, high-quality care
- Titrate Heparin drips and monitor patients with complex medical needs
- Collaborate with designated Charge Nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient outcomes
- Support adult and geriatric patients recovering from cardiac procedures, neuro events, orthopedic surgeries, and general medicine needs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience
- Neuro experience preferred
- Ability to float within a 60-mile zone and adapt to varying unit needs
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across telemetry and medical-surgical units
- Comfortable floating between Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
- Experience with Heparin titration and managing diverse patient acuities
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in fast-paced environments
