Roles & Responsibilities
- Help patients recover from orthopedic injuries with specialized upper extremity therapy
- Provide compassionate care across acute inpatient, rehab, transitional care, and outpatient settings
- Treat a variety of conditions including shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures
- Collaborate with rehab aides and the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes
- Document patient progress using ReDoc and Meditech systems
- Make a real difference in patients' lives as they regain strength and independence
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Occupational Therapy license required
- BLS certification
- Strong background in outpatient orthopedic therapy, especially upper extremity cases
- Experience treating shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures
- Lymphedema training is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Outpatient orthopedic expertise with focus on upper extremities
- Ability to treat a diverse caseload including CVA, MS, and head injury patients
- Comfortable working across acute inpatient, rehab, transitional care, and outpatient environments
- Familiarity with ReDoc and Meditech documentation systems
- Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered approach
