Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert respiratory care to patients from neonates through geriatrics across all inpatient floors
• Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry with precision and care
• Collaborate closely with hospitalists, intensivists, and nursing teams to deliver seamless patient support
• Manage ventilators, BiPAPs, and high-flow oxygen systems to optimize patient outcomes
• Float throughout the hospital in an RT capacity, adapting quickly to diverse clinical needs
• Maintain flexibility and strong time-management skills while delivering compassionate care every day

Qualifications

• Current RRT or CRT credential required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NRP and PALS preferred
• Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and not be employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity in any capacity

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion ventilators
• Experience with Vision, V60, V30, and Respironics BiPAP systems
• Skilled in Airvo2 high-flow therapy
• Strong time management, adaptability, and communication abilities
• Comfort working with neonates through geriatric populations
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
