Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed PCU unit
- Monitor and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
- Interpret telemetry strips and respond promptly to patient changes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients with cardiac, vascular, respiratory, renal, and oncology needs
- Float to MedSurg or ICU when needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
- Champion patient experience by focusing on responsiveness, clear medication communication, and a healing environment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Competency managing arterial lines
- Comfortable with titratable drips and telemetry interpretation
- Willingness to float and adapt to changing unit needs
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry interpretation and arrhythmia recognition
- Titration of cardiac and vasoactive medications
- Arterial line management and monitoring
- Patient assessment across cardiac, vascular, respiratory, renal, and oncology populations
- Collaboration with nurse aides, charge nurses, and respiratory therapy
