Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed Progressive Care Unit
- Manage titratable drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
- Interpret telemetry strips and respond quickly to cardiac changes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients with cardiac, vascular, respiratory, renal, and oncology needs
- Float to MedSurg or ICU when needed while maintaining excellent patient experience scores
- Mentor and support nursing assistants while fostering a positive, inclusive environment for diverse patient populations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Competency managing arterial lines
- Strong telemetry interpretation skills
- Ability to arrive within 30 minutes when called in from on-call status
- Willingness to complete a pass/fail open-book skills exam during orientation
