Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC Float Pool
Location: Centennial, Colorado
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
- Manage and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, Ativan, and heparin with confidence and precision
- Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support various PCU/IMC units based on patient needs
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Monitor patients with complex conditions while maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3-4
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
- Comfortable managing cardiac drips, insulin, Ativan, and heparin
- Epic experience preferred, neuro experience a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for diverse patient populations
- Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient acuities
- Experience with ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to float within a 60-mile zone and fill scheduling gaps as needed
