Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with options for 10-hour and 12-hour shifts; mids starting at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures
- Assist surgeons during a wide range of cases including ortho, general, vascular, neuro/spine, ENT, and trauma
- Collaborate closely with the OR team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
- Maintain sterile technique and support CVOR procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, and lead extractions
- Respond to call coverage for weeknights and occasional weekends to keep cases moving smoothly
Qualifications
- Current Surgical Tech certification or license as required by California
- Strong hands-on experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures
- Comfortable working with Cerner Surginet and Phillips Telemetry systems
- Ability to take 1-2 weeknight calls per week and approximately one weekend call per month
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with Cerner Surginet documentation
- Familiar with Phillips Telemetry monitoring
- Skilled in total joints, general, vascular, and spine cases
- Strong sterile technique and OR workflow knowledge
