Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac telemetry patients and interpret dysrhythmias with confidence
- Titrate cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone per physician orders
- Provide compassionate care for ED holds awaiting placement on med-surg/tele units
- Collaborate with the ED team by assisting with vitals, IV starts, and medication administration when needed
- Float to med-surg/tele/overflow units and sister campus EDs to support the broader care team
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of strong cardiac telemetry experience preferred
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts max) and SIM lab on day one of orientation
- Comfortable reading and interpreting cardiac strips without a monitor tech
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Titration of cardiac drips including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
- Strong assessment skills for med-surg/tele patient populations
- Flexibility to float across units and campuses as census needs change
