Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to neuro-telemetry patients including those with CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, and brain tumors
- Titrate critical drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin to maintain patient stability
- Interpret EKGs and respond promptly to cardiac rhythm changes using central monitoring
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of charge nurses, aides, and 24/7 pharmacy and respiratory support
- Maintain accurate bedside reporting and ensure seamless continuity of care during fast-paced turnovers
- Float to other telemetry units or ICU overflow as needed while delivering consistent, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
- Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
- Neuro experience highly valued
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with up to 2 attempts
- Must demonstrate competency in sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Knowledge & Skills
- EKG interpretation and central monitoring
- Titration of cardiac and insulin drips
- Care of trached patients, post-CVA, TBI, and spinal surgery cases
- Cerner EMR documentation
- Strong sterile field technique and infection prevention practices
