Registered Nurse - Med/Tele/PCU
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients on a 32-bed Med/Tele unit
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips with confidence
- Titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, and Lasix
- Deliver specialized care for cardiac caths, EP studies, pacemakers, and acute cardiac conditions
- Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care techs
- Float to PCU, Med-Surg, and ER holds as a valued helping hand across the facility
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PCU experience with the ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
- Epic experience preferred but not required
- Open to first-time travelers who meet the clinical requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong cardiac telemetry and rhythm interpretation skills
- Experience with titratable drips and cardiac medications
- Comfort managing BiPAP, trach, and Airvo equipment
- Ability to care for patients with complex cardiac and medical histories
- Flexibility to float and support various units as needed
