Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 11:30 PM; 4 weekend shifts required in an 8-week period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to neuro rehab patients recovering from TBI, stroke, and brain tumor resections
Partner closely with patients and families to support healing and recovery every step of the way
Administer IV therapy, manage wounds, and deliver acute MedSurg interventions with confidence
Collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team including rehab physicians and therapists
Float to other MedSurg units as needed while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Champion sterile technique and safety during every procedure and skill demonstration

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS certification required
Strong MedSurg experience required
Level 1 trauma experience required
Rehab experience preferred
Must pass dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts allowed)
Comfortable with high-level patient and family communication

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Neuro rehab patient population expertise
IV therapy and wound care skills
Sterile field maintenance and central line care
Foley catheter insertion competency
Ability to work collaboratively in a busy interdisciplinary environment
