Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, rotating days including occasional weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns during vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using advanced equipment
Assist with high-risk pregnancies and immediate newborn care
Collaborate with a dynamic team of charge nurses, PCTs, and CSTs
Float to MFMU/MOMB/NICU as needed, expanding your skills
Perform procedures like D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst with precision

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
Must have high-risk obstetrics experience
Proven ability to provide immediate newborn care
Current NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications
Circulating experience preferred but not required
Adaptable, outgoing, and friendly personality to thrive in our unit

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in fetal monitoring (electronic and advanced)
Proficient with Cerner EMR and Fetalink systems
Comfortable using Baxter pumps and Phillips monitoring equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to float to related units (MFMU, NICU) with ease
