Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for a diverse acute care patient population
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize patient functional independence
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
Document patient progress accurately in Meditech EMR
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of acute care hospital occupational therapy experience required
Active Kansas occupational therapy licensure required before start
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Ability to work independently with strong accountability and flexibility

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care occupational therapy skills: evaluations, treatments, discharge planning
Meditech EMR proficiency preferred
Trauma and comprehensive stroke experience a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
