Location: Wichita, Kansas

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide evaluation and treatment for a diverse inpatient population
Deliver daily treatment including gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training
Track patient therapy time and charges to meet 3-hour daily therapy requirements
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs
Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and EMR system Meditech Magic

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months current acute care PT experience required
Active BLS certification required
Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred
Neuro certification or experience preferred
Team player with a flexible, hands-on clinical approach

Knowledge & Skills

Evaluation and treatment
Gait training
Neuromuscular reeducation
Caregiver training
Knowledge of ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, gym equipment, vital machines
