Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Measure and record vital signs accurately and on schedule
Assist the care team by reporting changes in patient condition promptly and clearly
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and lift assistance
Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident environments following infection-control practices
Document care activities and observations thoroughly to support continuity of care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility for adults of varying needs
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and any facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and safety practices
Vital sign measurement and documentation
Infection control principles and PPE use
Good interpersonal skills and resident-centered communication
Familiarity with charting systems or willingness to learn electronic documentation
