Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to improve patient communication and safety
Develop individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and person-centered
Monitor patient progress closely and adjust therapy to meet changing needs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support continuity of care and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated, high-quality care

Qualifications

Active California SLP License (Required)
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current BLS Certification
SNF experience preferred but not required — we welcome clinicians ready to make an impact in post-acute care
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills for working with patients and the care team

Education

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Speech-Language Pathology assessment and treatment
Communication and counseling techniques
Cognition-related therapy approaches
Swallowing function assessment and intervention
Accurate clinical documentation and progress monitoring
