Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care for Med-Surg and Emergency Department patients, including bathing, feeding, ambulation, and toileting assistance
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff in a timely manner
• Support emergency response activities by assisting nurses and physicians during critical situations
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations to support continuity of patient treatment
• Assist with safe patient transfers and use of mobility aids to reduce risk of injury
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized patient environment
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care and smooth handoffs during night shift

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Colorado CNA certification (REQUIRED)
• Current BLS certification (REQUIRED)
• Experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Emergency Department settings preferred
• Comfort and capability to work night shift assignments
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to pass background check and any required screening prior to start

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• State-certified CNA credential (Colorado)

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental patient care skills including ADLs and vital signs monitoring
• Basic understanding of emergency department workflow and priorities
• Infection prevention and control practices
• Effective verbal and written communication for documentation and team coordination
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
