Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate in the Cardiac Cath Lab and provide safe, efficient patient care during procedures
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation per unit policies and ensure patient stability
• Document procedures and patient information accurately using Merge
• Assist with a broad range of procedures including LHC/RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP, ECMO, Impella and peripheral/endovascular cases
• Collaborate with physicians, techs and unit staff to maintain smooth case flow and optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain equipment familiarity (Philips and Siemens) and uphold sterile technique and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Required: ARRT (R) certification
• Required: ACLS and BLS certifications
• Required: Cath Lab circulating experience and comfort with moderate sedation
• Experience: 1 year (as listed) — hands-on cardiac cath procedure experience preferred
• Preferred: Merge documentation system experience
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and cath lab workflow
• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Experience with Merge documentation
• Comfort with advanced procedures (TAVR, TEER, EP, ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM, peripheral and endovascular AAA)
• Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Patient monitoring and sedation assessment skills
