Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered anesthesia care across a broad inpatient surgical caseload, including neurosurgical and general surgery procedures
• Provide deep sedation/MAC and administer anesthetics while monitoring patients throughout procedures
• Perform preoperative assessments and educate patients about anesthesia plans and perioperative expectations
• Manage airway and ventilation intraoperatively and provide oversight of physician-administered regional anesthesia
• Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, RNs, surgical technologists, and anesthesia technicians to ensure smooth perioperative care
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies in coordination with the multidisciplinary team
• Accurately document anesthesia care and patient status in Epic EMR
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Current NBCRNA certification required
• Active state CRNA license (fully licensed providers only — not eligible if waiting for license)
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
• Not accepting new graduates — prior clinical CRNA experience required
• Comfort working under supervision in a hospital-based, Level 1 trauma center
• Experience with ventilation management, MAC/deep sedation, and oversight of regional anesthesia preferred
