Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and assist with daily living activities
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility while preserving dignity
• Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
• Document care accurately and communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control best practices
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and performing basic clinical tasks
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Infection control and proper hygiene practices
• Accurate documentation and charting of care
• Safe resident transfer and mobility assistance techniques
• Compassionate communication with residents, families, and clinical teams
