Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, plus call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound exams that directly impact patient care
Conduct procedures including drains and biopsies with precision and compassion
Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging
Maintain equipment and ensure excellent image quality using Philips scanners and Fuji EPIC systems
Provide exceptional patient experiences during every scan

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification (General or OBGYN) required
BLS certification required
RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
Strong experience in General and OBGYN ultrasound with vascular skills preferred
Comfortable performing procedures and handling 8-10+ scans per day

Knowledge & Skills

General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound expertise
Procedure experience including drains and biopsies
Philips ultrasound equipment proficiency
Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
Strong attention to detail and patient communication
