Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, occasional weekend shifts required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care across acute inpatient units including MedSurg, ICU, Telemetry, Oncology, and Cardiology
Provide specialized treatment for ventilated patients and post-surgical orthopedic cases including total joints
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and mobility outcomes
Evaluate and treat a diverse caseload of acute care patients throughout the hospital
Document patient progress using Cerner EMR while maintaining high standards of care

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care
Experience with MedSurg, Oncology, and Cardiology patient populations

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy across multiple hospital units
Cerner electronic medical records system
Treatment of ventilated patients in ICU settings
Post-operative orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation
Cardiology and cardiac surgery patient care
