Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM with call rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Clean, wrap, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment to keep every procedure running smoothly
Maintain accurate inventory of sterile supplies so the OR and clinics never miss a beat
Support multiple departments across the hospital with reliable sterile processing expertise
Respond to on-call needs and help the team handle urgent instrument requests
Follow strict infection-control standards that directly protect patient safety

Qualifications

Active CSPDT or CRCST certification required
Minimum 3 years of sterile processing experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently during night shifts and call rotations

Education

High School graduate or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Expert knowledge of sterile processing techniques
Familiarity with instrument sterilization standards
Ability to manage inventory and track supplies
Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
