Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team for coordinated care
Document patient progress and adjust therapy as needed
Educate patients and families on communication strategies and exercises
Float to Mercy Medical Center Redding when required

Qualifications

Active California Speech Language Pathologist license
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in speech therapy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in speech therapy assessment and intervention techniques
Knowledge of swallowing disorders and dysphagia management
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Compassionate patient-centered approach
