Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural LDRP setting
Triage patients and manage labor, including Pitocin titration
Function as a baby catcher/transition nurse for deliveries
Collaborate with a small team to ensure safe, personalized care
Support postpartum mothers and newborns with education and monitoring

Qualifications

At least 1 year of L&D experience and trained in LDRP
Must hold current ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications
Ability to triage and serve as a baby catcher/transition nurse
Comfortable working in a rural hospital environment with limited resources

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in L&D, LDRP, and triage
Skilled in Pitocin titration and EFM monitoring
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptable to a fast-paced, small unit setting
