Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and follow-ups with confidence
Perform communication assessments and implement evidence-based interventions
Administer standardized outpatient tests to patients with diverse diagnoses
Treat patients recovering from stroke, concussion, traumatic brain injury, and head/neck cancer
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across acute inpatient and outpatient settings

Qualifications

Valid CCC-SLP credential (CCC-A not accepted) - must be a Speech Language Pathologist
Current BLS certification required
COVID vaccine required prior to start
Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care and outpatient settings preferred
Independence in bedside swallow and communication evaluations is a must

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in bedside swallow evaluation and follow-up care
Skilled in communication assessment and treatment planning
Experience with outpatient standardized test administration
Comfortable floating between multiple hospital campuses
Strong interpersonal and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
